Dr. Valerie Maine
Dr. Valerie Maine is a Clinical Psychologist and Program Manager for the Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Clinical Team at the Veteran’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. In her role at the VA, Dr. Maine oversees the operation of an outpatient clinic and provides evidence-based therapy to veterans with PTSD. She also works with the VA’s Workplace Violence Prevention Program and leads the hospital’s Employee Threat Assessment Team. Valerie earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Oberlin College in Biopsychology and a Masters of Science and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University New England. She completed her clinical internship at the Madison Veterans Hospital and has worked as a Clinical Psychologist on staff there since 2013. Valerie began her work with the Ruth and Hal Launders Charitable Trust (RHLCT) as part of the Trustee Advisory Board (from 2019 through 2024). She joined the Board of Trustees of the RHLCT in April 2024
