Mazi Bahadori
Mazi Bahadori is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Altruist, the tech-forward custodian and wealth platform for independent advisors, on a mission to make financial advice better, more affordable, and accessible to everyone.
Before joining Altruist’s founding team, Mazi served as CCO and VP of Operations at Aspiration, a fintech neobank, where he helped grow the brokerage platform from 400 to 30,000 new accounts per month. Prior to that, he held roles in Legal and Compliance at PIMCO and Government Affairs at Goldman Sachs. He began his career in public service, working as a congressional staff member and aide in the White House Counsel’s Office.
Mazi holds a BA from UC Berkeley, a JD from Chapman University School of Law, an MBA from the Argyros School of Business and Economics, and he is a Presidential Leadership Scholar.
